MARRY'S CONVENT PUBLIC SCHOOL is a brain child of some enlightened people of Bongaigaon who thought to cater to the educational need of this locality seeing the increasing demand for a CBSE Pattern educational institution with an aim to impart the modern education synthesizing the rich culture of our country. MCPS believes in learning beyond classrooms educational tours of historical or geographical nature are regularly. Their trips imparts knowledge of languages, an appreciation of other cultures, customs and traditions, nature.
Visual Arts is taught at MCPS in its numerous well equipped art studies e.g. Drawings & Painting, Craft, Glass Painting, Computer Graphics, Photograph & Fabric/Textile, Pencil Sketching and Charcoal Shading, Crayon Colouring and Water Colouring Painting are taught extensively here.
MCPS gives importance of remedial teaching progress where we use some activities, techniques, and practices for special subjects for weaker or slow learner students.
Admission starts from 14 December every year for new academic session that starts from 1 April. Admission to Nursery, LKG, UKG and class - IX on first come first serve basis according to the prescribed age determined by CBSE. Students seeking admission to class I - IX will be on the basis of admission test.
Seats for Nursery:
Section A = 30 students.
Section B = 30 students.
From class LKG to X : 35 students in each class subject to the availability of seats. Admissions are done only if seats are available.
